We will, however, tend to any specific product or safety issue or deficiency immediately. This is an industry standard and well received by all constituents. We, like most hotels are on a rehab cycle of the guestrooms every seven years. Our hotel is just over three years old and we believe is in excellent condition especially when we had no business or wear and tear in all of 2020 due to the pandemic. I will take a quick moment to respond to some of the specific items in your posting. We appreciate constructive comments as this allows us to get better with our product and service delivery. More Show lessĭear Guest - Thank you for your feedback from your recent stay at the Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk. Frankly, I feel taken advantage of, and my time and money would have been spent better at a number of different hotels in the Naperville area. I am a proponent of you get what you pay for. We paid $15 amenity fee, yet you didn’t provide any amenities. I understand that Covid has caused issues but ive stayed at “cheaper” hotels in the last 12 months who were able to provide a breakfast option For a hotel who present them as a higher end hotel (and charge for it) you have failed across the board. Why not recommend Egg Harbor Café across the river? Google did and it was a success. Well the grocery items consisted of deli meat and muffins and the coffee shop wasn’t much better with a line out of the door. I was told the breakfast options are the “grocery” items in the marketplace or the coffee shop downstairs. You have 2 restaurants on premises but nothing served for breakfast. Bathroom – there was mildew around the shower, a contact lens stuck to the side of the bathroom vanity and only 2 bath towels to share. If we had booked a balcony room, the balcony would have been completely pointless. We weren’t offered anything for our inconvenience and I know I wasn’t alone because the people checking out in front of us had the exact same complaint. There should have been a warning on the website prior to booking. We could not get peace or relaxation in our room. That music did not finish until after 10pm and sound check started at 10am the next morning. If I checked out it would have still cost me $150. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told that the only rooms available were on the same side. Now, normally I wouldn’t completely judge the hotel because of this but management knew about the festival. On the other side of the River was a music festival. The flooring feels cheap and the lighting is distracting, and then we went to check out the view. Room - The room seemed clean and neat but in person the finishes do not match the photos on the website. On 3rd floor, theres a sign that the ice machine is at the end of the hallway however the end of the hallway is a T intersection with no signage on which direction to go. There is no indication that there are 2 towers or that they have identical room numbers. Hotel – you need major signage improvements. And that’s when things started going down. We had decided on Hotel Indigo because of its location to the Naperville Riverwalk area and specifically requested the Riverwalk view We were greeted promptly and professionally and directed towards our room (元22).
